I believe we were all born into the world at this time to play an important role in the planetary awakening. Each of us came here with the capacity to be a conscious leader in our families, our professions, our communities, and even in the world at large, and we must embrace and embody our highest potentials for helping to create a better world for us all, and for the countless generations to follow.

During the 1990s, when I was based in Silicon Valley and led two companies to more than $75 million in revenue, I got a good long taste of the American Dream. I attained financial wealth and participated in all the things that go along with it, such as travel in private jets, skiing at ultra-private resorts, trips with business icons to luxurious destinations, and more.

But I ultimately found that taste of the American Dream to be unfulfilling, as I saw how its mindset left so many behind and created a world of haves and have-nots that did not feel right or good to me at all, so in 2001, I felt called to play a more active role in trying to create a new universal dream — a better world of equal benefit, opportunity, and flourishing for all of Life — so I chose to leave my life in Silicon Valley behind.

I sold my interest in the companies I’d started, moved with my family to Boulder, Colorado (where we still live today), and continued the journey to further elevate my own consciousness.

In 2003, I co-founded Humanity’s Team 501(c)(3) non-profit with New York Times bestselling author of the Conversations with God series of books, Neale Donald Walsch. The following year, I became the Worldwide Executive Director, a role I continue in today, leading a highly motivated and committed core team, along with volunteers, Country Coordinators, and Country Contacts around the world.

Humanity’s Team was founded on Neale’s and my vision of a world free of outdated and limiting beliefs about the Divine, one another, nature, and all of life. By living in this Divine being-state, we truly experience—and thus share—unity and Oneness.

Humanity’s Team’s first general meeting—a 3-day conference at a retreat center near Portland, Oregon, in June of 2003—attracted nearly 1,000 people from six continents. Since then, the organization has grown into an active, coordinated, and diverse global movement with our team members currently engaged in on-the-ground humanitarian projects in over 65 countries.

We also offer hundreds of Masterclass and other online programs featuring some of the most respected scientists, healers, spiritual teachers, psychic mediums, and experts in dozens of other transformational fields. And these are all available 24/7 on our HumanityStream+ platform.

Our current primary focus is our Changing Humanity’s Future Initiative—a project involving bold but critical plans to make conscious living pervasive across the globe by 2040 by bringing human action into alignment with the profound understanding that the foundational truth of the Universe is this: We Are All One.
